ATL Activities

   1. Evolve India Robot Olympiad: The school hosted the Evolve India Robot Olympiad, attracting participation from numerous neighbouring schools. Students showcased their robotics skills and competed in various challenges.

2. Abhyudaya Inter School Tinkering Festival: Annually conducted, Abhyudaya is an inter-school tinkering festival where students from different schools participate. The event aims to foster innovation, creativity, and technical skills among the youth.
3. Participation in Competitions: Students enthusiastically participated in various competitions including Shastra, Macmillan Budding Scientist Award, PPT Innovation Awards, CBSE Exhibitions, among others. They demonstrated their talents and secured multiple accolades and prizes.
4. Summer Camp: Every year during March-April, the school organizes a Summer Camp. It is open not only to its own students but also welcomes participants from non-Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) schools. The camp focuses on enhancing practical skills and fostering interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects.
5. Intra School Competitions: To stimulate creativity and innovation, the school conducts various intra-school competitions such as Idea Box competition, App Development, Story Creation, Game Development, and Hydraulics Model Design. These activities encourage students to explore their ideas and develop practical solutions.
In addition to these activities, the Atal Tinkering Lab organizes mentoring sessions conducted by mentors and Mentor of Change to support children in their projects. Students also have the opportunity to visit exhibitions, further enriching their learning experiences and exposure to real-world innovations.
These initiatives underscore the lab's commitment to nurturing skills, fostering innovation, and inspiring young minds in STEM education.
 
 
 

The Atal Tinkering Lab was inaugurated on 26th July 2022, with esteemed guests including SRI John M Thomas, CEO of Kerala IT Parks, and Sri C A Venigopal C Govind, Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Kochi Kendra. Sri Venigopal presided over the function, and Sri E Ramankutty, Director of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Kochi Kendra, graced the occasion. The program was felicitated by Sri Binu A, Assistant Professor and IEEE STEM Ambassador, along with Smt Suma Mohan, Ward Councillor, and Sri Dileep Kumar P I, PTA President. This initiative aims to cultivate curiosity, creativity, and practical skills such as design mindset and computational thinking among students, fostering a culture of innovation and adaptive learning in young minds.
